A silicone sealant gun, also known as a caulking gun, is a hand-operated tool that dispenses silicone sealant, adhesive, or other caulk from a cartridge by applying pressure with a trigger-activated plunger. Users prepare the sealant by cutting the tip of the cartridge and placing it in the gun's frame, then squeeze the trigger to push the sealant out in a consistent bead.
